Surface preparation
All surfaces must be clean and dry, free from any dust and grease or anything which is likely to impair adhesion of the sealant. Residues of old sealant or other materials must be removed completely.
Sealant application
Apply the sealant ensuring the joint is filled. Smooth off immediately after application to ensure good contact between the sealant and the bonding surfaces, using UniBond Sealant Smoothing Tool.
Cleaning and finishing
Fresh, uncured product can be removed with a damp cloth. Clean tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Cured sealant can only be removed mechanically (e.g., with knife).
Drying time
The sealant will be touch dry in 1 hour and fully cured in approximately 24 hours.
