Surface preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants likely to impair adhesion.
Sealant application
The sealant should be applied ensuring that the joint is completely filled. Smooth off the sealant with a UniBond Sealant Smoothing Tool to ensure good contact between the sealant and the bonding surfaces. Clean up excess sealant with a damp cloth immediately.
Cleaning and finishing
Fresh sealant can be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water. Cured sealant can only be removed by mechanical means (e. g. knife or razor blade).
Drying time
The sealant will be touch dry in 1 hour and fully cured in approximately 24 hours.
