Surface preparation
All surfaces must be clean and free from contaminants likely to impair adhesion.
Sealant application
The sealant should be applied ensuring that the joint is completely filled. Smooth off the sealant with a smoothing tool to ensure good contact between the sealant and the bonding surfaces. Clean up excess sealant with white spirit immediately.
Cleaning and finishing
Fresh sealant can be cleaned with a cloth dampened with white spirit. Cured sealant can only be removed by mechanical means (e. g. knife or razor blade).
