Surface preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from contaminants likely to impair adhesion. To get the best sealing results, it is recommended to mask edges of the joints with a tape before application of the sealant mass.
Sealant application
The sealant should be applied ensuring that the joint is completely filled. Smooth off the sealant with a smoothing tool to ensure good contact between the sealant and the bonding surfaces. Immediately remove masking tape (if using) and excess sealant with white spirit.
Cleaning and finishing
Fresh sealant can be cleaned with a cloth dampened with white spirit. Cured sealant can only be removed by mechanical means (e. g. knife or razor blade).
Drying time
The sealant will be touch dry in 20 mins and fully dry in approximately 24 hours.
